Makaton Friendly

Makaton Friendly recognises our commitment to accessible communication. We support children and young people to communicate in ways that work for them, using signs, symbols and speech to help everyone feel understood, included and heard.

School and Sixth Form

UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award

This award helps schools put children’s rights into everyday school life. It is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which sets out the rights that every child has. The aim is not simply to teach children about rights, but to create a rights-respecting culture where children feel valued, heard and treated fairly.
