Empowering young adults aged 16-19 through key transitions, with preparation for adulthood at our core

School and Sixth Form

Welcome to our Sixth Form

A nurturing and empowering environment designed to help every learner reach their full potential. We specialise in supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, offering a personalised learning experience and a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual strengths, interests, and aspirations. Our aim is to build confidence, resilience, and independence, equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in further education, employment, and adult life.

At the heart of our Sixth Form is a commitment to providing a broad and diverse curriculum, made possible by our strong partnerships with local colleges, including Calderdale, Bradford, Kirklees, and The William Henry Smith Specialist College.

About our Sixth Form
Curriculum
We deliver a wide range of qualifications and courses, from academic to vocational, tailored to match the unique goals of each student. Our dedicated tutors deliver essential qualifications in English and Maths, alongside Work Skills and Employability Skills. These core subjects are complemented by an array of enrichment opportunities designed to prepare students for the future. By blending academic achievement with practical skills and meaningful experiences, we empower every student to build a bright and fulfilling future.
Preparations for Life
Practical life skills such as home cooking, budgeting, and navigating adult services are integral to our approach, ensuring learners are ready to transition into independent living. We also provide guidance on health, well-being, and managing responsibilities, helping students approach adulthood with confidence and self-assurance. We also offer travel training, along with driving lessons and support for passing the theory test, enabling students to gain independence and mobility.
